Private room was spacious, there was a private bathroom, we had booked shared bathroom so nice bonus. Clean, free water at bar and I think a reasonable price for accommodation l, especially over the May Day celebrations.

The room was clean and spacious, the private bathroom was also clean and pretty nice. It was nice that you can control the AC from the room. Staff were very friendly and breakfast had limited options but it was good - croissant, pain au chocolat, bread, cheese, ham and a few different drink options. My room had street view with a balcony and the night that had a dj there I couldn’t even hear it from the room 👌🏻

We chose the hotel for its location, near the main station and close to the traditional quarter 'Le Panier'. It is basically a hostel, and we were not expecting very much comfort. We had a two-bed room with bath, and it was indeed furnished in a spartan way, but nothing was lacking. The WiFi worked well. Breakfast was a buffet served in the lobby, with tables in the inner courtyard, not spectacular but quite satisfactory. The staff were friendly and uniformly helpful. The hotel was quiet except for an occasional loud door closing (a sign in the lobby asked guests to be considerate and avoid that, but some forgot and let the door slam shut). The decor was simple but fresh and pleasing (patterns in white and blue, in the style of Matisse's 'cutouts'). The building has a classic exterior and is a protected monument; it ollos like an office building or a former government office, but was in fact originally a cigar factory. All in all a very pleasant stay, with no problems of any kind.
